Apple Is Quickly Resolving Production Issues with the iPhone 15 Pro Max to Increase Supply
According to some recent pieces of information, the Cupertino-based tech company is putting in all its efforts to address the difficulties with the production of the iPhone 15 Pro. Reportedly, the main production challenge is related to the update’s Telephoto camera on the iPhone 15 Pro Max. The company is determined to increase the supply of smartphones.
The recent information was shared by supply chain analyst Ming Chi-Kuo. According to Kuo, the tetraprism camera module is the main hurdle for the device’s production. It can offer up to 5x optical zoom. Notably, the tetraprism camera lens was supplied by Largan Precision. The company has improved the specifications of the lens to compensate for the issue. On the other hand, in order to keep up with the huge demand for the iPhone 15 Pro Max, Largan Precision has increased the production lines for the tetraprism lines, says Kuo.
A few configurations of the iPhone 15 Pro Max will require an estimated 3–4 weeks for shipping, whereas the other configurations might take 6-7 weeks. Yesterday, Kuo claimed that the demand for the iPhone 15 Pro Max is way more than the demand for last year’s iPhone 14 Pro Max.
Besides the current issue with the camera of the iPhone 15 Pro Max, previously it was reported by Kuo that the respective model entered the production stage way later than the other models of the series. For this reason, it will take longer for the device to ship. the latest iPhone 15 Pro Max has been priced at $1,199 with 256GB of storage in the US. All models of the iPhone 15 series will launch later this Friday.
