Surcharges for SSD and RAM are still high
In this country, the MacBook Air is offered in two basic configurations. With prices of 1499 euros and 1849 euros respectively, the differences are mainly in the graphics cores (8 vs. 10 cores) of the new Apple M2 chip and the memory configuration with either 256 GB or 512 GB SSDs. Additional variants are sold in the Apple Store as well as through partners such as Cyberport and Gravis. With a contemporary configuration of 16 GB of working memory (RAM) and a 1 TB SSD, the MacBook Air is above 2000 euros this year.
In addition to the new M2 chip, Apple has installed a 13.6-inch IPS display with up to 500 nits and a resolution of 2560 x 1664 pixels. Two Thunderbolt / USB 4 ports, audio jacks, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, a 1080p camera, and the MagSafe 3 magnetic power cord connector are also part of the standard equipment. As for the battery, the manufacturer states a battery life of up to 18 hours when playing movies within the Apple TV app. Wireless surfing, on the other hand, should be possible for up to 15 hours.
