Apple orders OLED panels from Samsung and LG Display for 2024 iPad models

A new report suggests that Apple has ordered OLED panels from Samsung and LG Display. Reportedly, the order is placed for the upcoming generation of iPad Pro models. The upcoming iPad Pro models are anticipated to arrive in 2024.

According to the report by Business Korea, the tech company Apple has ordered the manufacturing of 10.9-inch and 12.9-inch OLED panels. As per the latest information, Apple has placed orders with the two above-mentioned companies. Where the Chinese company BOE was eliminated. Samsung display unit will start working on the development of OLED panels. The panels for iPad will be manufactured at the sixth-generation [1500mm x 1850mm] line of Samsung.

Apple is working on the development of 11.1-inch and 13-inch OLED iPad pro models. Ross Young claims that the new iPad Pro models are expected to be introduced in Q1 2024. Some previous sources claimed that Apple will introduce larger 11.1-inch and 13-inch screens for the new OLED iPad Pro models.
