Apple Recalls 15-inch MacBook Pro Battery Due To Fire Risk

Due to problems in the battery of older 2015 MacBook Pro 15-inch Apple recalls MacBook Pro battery and initiated the program officially. Apple says the program focuses on the units sold between September 2015 and February 2017.

According to Apple, the older models of MacBook Pro and the batteries inside may overheat and ignite the fire. “Customer safety is always Apple’s top priority, and we have voluntarily decided to replace affected batteries, free of charge.” Said Apple.

Apple AppStore Blamed For Fake Software in China

Customers can hit their MacBook’s serial number on the support page, in order to check whether their MacBook is eligible for battery recall or not. The eligible customers will get free battery replacement from Apple, the affected device will be sent to Apple Repair Center for service and the process can take 1 to 2 weeks.
