Xiaomi Becomes The Youngest Fortune 500 Global This Year

The Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi for the first time hits Fortune 500 Global list today, a great success story and the good news for the company. Xiaomi secures 468th place on the list, the company has announced it officially. The company is the youngest only 9 years old among the other entire 500 Global list.

Fortune 500 is the list of companies that are ranked annually by measuring the revenue and growth of the companies, the list is organized and published by Fortune magazine every year. “In only 9 years Xiaomi has made it to the Fortune Global 500 list, we owe a big thank you to all our Mi Fans and users for their persistent support.

Xiaomi is also the youngest company on this year’s list, a proud record that we will keep in mind and bring to another level in the global expansion journey,” said Lei Jun of Xiaomi.

Xiaomi’s was also listed in the Fortune’s China 500 list for the first time last month in June, Xiaomi ranked 53rd on China’s list, the company has successfully reached US$1,453.72 million revenues in 2012 and $14,537.21 million in 2017. Xiaomi is still far behind from the tech giants such as Apple, Samsung, and Huawei but the company within a short span of time has hit the Fortune 500 Global list is a remarkable achievement. Xiaomi will continue its endeavors to grow and make its position better on the list in the coming future, said Xiaomi.
