Apple reduces the prices of iPhone battery replacement in the UK
Along with pricing reductions for the iPhone 15 in the UK over the iPhone 14 models from a year ago, Apple has also lowered the price of its iPhone Battery Servicing program for a number of earlier models. Notably, the company has hugely discounted the service for the iPhone 14 series.
Previously, Apple charged £105 for iPhone 14 battery replacements. However, after the new iPhone 15 series announcement, the prices dropped to £95. It is a £10 reduction, which is not bad at all. Besides this, all the previous models ranging from the iPhone XR to the iPhone 13 series (iPhone 13 models, iPhone 12 models, iPhone 11 models, iPhone XS models, iPhone XR models, and iPhone X) will now benefit from the £85 price tag for battery replacements in contrast to the previous £89. On the other hand, new batteries for iPhone SE and iPhone X models will now be available for £65 as a replacement for £69. It includes the iPhone 8, iPhone 7, and iPhone SE.
As compared to last year’s iPhone 14 Pro models, the new iPhone 15 Pro models are $100 less. The lower price tag is available across all configurations. The company has also introduced significantly lower prices for the new iPhone 15 series in other regions of Europe. Furthermore, some other products from the company now come with a price cut. It includes the AirPods Max, which can be purchased for £499 compared to the £549 price tag. In addition to this, the second-gen AirPods Pro is now available at £229 compared to the previous £249.
Only the iPhone 15 Pro Max has observed a price increase in the US. It is available for $1,199. With the new iPhone 15 Pro Max, the company has dropped the 128GB storage option and instead introduced the 256GB storage option as the new minimum storage configuration. In some other marketplaces, including Canada and India, Apple hiked phone prices more radically.
