Apple had already confirmed a few weeks ago that not all of the innovations announced at WWDC will be available right away when iOS 17 launches. Therefore, it remains exciting to see which updates will start. Unfortunately, the release notes are often not very informative.

Many details about the further updated content have not yet been leaked. iOS 17.1 will bring a variety of new features that will improve the user experience even in individual apps. By the way, a hotfix update for the heat problems of the iPhone 15 Pro family should be released before then.
Participation in the beta program is free of charge and requires a one-time registration for the program at beta.apple.com on the correspondingly supported device. This also applies to all beta versions that Apple is testing, i.e. for iPhone, iPad, Watch, Mac, and TV. Users must enter their Apple ID and then receive the update automatically via the update function. New versions will also automatically arrive on the device.
The new beta version is now available to registered users as an over-the-air update. Testing pre-release versions is always at your own risk and should not run on the production system.
