Apple seeds first Betas of iOS 16.5, iPadOS 16.5, and tvOS 16.5 to developers

Tech company Apple released different betas yesterday. Reportedly, the company seeded iOS 16.5, iPadOS 16.5, and tvOS 16.5 first beta updates to developers. The first betas are meant for testing purposes. Notably, the company introduced the software just a day after releasing iOS 16.4 and iPadOS 16.4.

How can Developers access the First betas of iOS 16.5 and iPadOS 16.5?

In order to access the first beta updates, developers need to be registered. Registered developers can opt into the beta by following the given steps:

  • Open the Settings app
  • Go to Software Update
  • Click on Beta Updates
  • Turn on the iOS 16 Developer Beta
  • One important thing to notice here is that it is necessary to have an Apple ID linked to a developer account in order to download and set up the beta.

There are no exact details regarding what will be included in the betas. However, the company has provided most of the features that were announced with the release of iOS 16.

Apple releases tvOS 16.5 for developers

Just after a day of introducing tvOS 16.4, Apple has released fresh new tvOS 16.5 updates for developers. The company has rolled out the updates for testing purposes. Any registered developer can download the tvOS 16.5 update. The latest updates can be installed by downloading a profile on the Apple TV using Xcode.
