Apple To Move iPhone SE 2 Production To Meet Expected Launch Date March 31
Not only Apple but also other major businesses that have their production setups in China are facing problems in their supply chain management. The production is affected due to the Coronavirus epidemic which is still looming around with increasing threats.
Apple, on the other hand, is focused on launching iPhone SE 2 a budget smartphone by the end of March. For this reason, Apple has moved its production from China to India and some other regions in order to meet the target launch date as scheduled earlier.
According to the latest reports, Apple is considering shifting its production plants to Taiwan and India; however, some reports confirm that Apple will not produce its flagships in India. But for the budget iPhone SE2 whose major market in Asia and Latin America hence, it will be produced in Asian countries in order to keep up with the production targets.
Apple is expected to hold the launch event on March 31 and the iPhone SE2 is expected to launch the same day starting preorders, according to the previous reports Apple iPhone SE2 will sell for $399.
iPhone SE2 adopts iPhone 8 like design as reported earlier, some reports also named it iPhone 9. The phone features a 4.7-inch screen with bezels on top and bottom. The device will drop Face ID module as well. The home button will return with Touch ID, the phone runs o A13 Bionic chip. Apple majorly targets the budget markets with this new handset including China, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia and some Latin American countries including Mexico, Argentina, Costa Rica, and Peru.
