Recently, Xiaomi debuted the Redmi Note 13 series with an affordable price tag. The series comprises three smartphones. In this short piece, we will compare and contrast the features of the Redmi Note 13 Pro and Redmi Note 13 Pro+.
Similarities between the Redmi Note 13 Pro & Pro+
Both smartphones feature a 6.67-inch OLED display that measures 2712 x 1220. The panels of both models feature a refresh rate of 120Hz and 1,800 nits of peak brightness. The Redmi Note 13 Pro and Pro+ feature support for HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and 1920Hz high-frequency PWM dimming. Both smartphones are protected by the Gorilla Glass Victus.
The Redmi Note 13 Pro and Pro+ come with Android 13 and MIUI 14 skin. Both smartphones feature two SIM card slots, an in-display fingerprint scanner, an IR blaster, and Bluetooth 5.3. Surprisingly, the camera setup of the two smartphones is also similar. Both devices feature a 200MP camera on the back. It is accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide camera (Sony’s IMX355 sensor) and a 2MP macro camera. On the front, a 16MP camera can be found.
Differences between the Redmi Note 13 Pro & Pro+

The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ model is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200-Ultra whereas the Redmi Note 13 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC. In terms of storage, the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ comes with two RAM options, including 12GB and 16GB (LPDDR5) RAM and 256GB and 512GB of UFS 3.1 flash storage. On the other hand, the Redmi Note 13 Pro is offered in 8GB and 12GB (LPDDR4X) RAM flavors. It features support for 128GB or 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage,
The battery of the Redmi Note 13 Pro is 5,100mAh with support for 67W wired charging, whereas the battery of the Pro+ model is a 5,000mAh one with support for 120W wired charging. Both models ship with a charger. IP54 certification is available with the Redmi Note 13 Pro, whereas IP68 certification can be found on the Redmi Note 13 Pro+.
The Redmi Note 13 Pro is priced at CNY1,499 ($205), while the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ is available for CNY1,999 ($273). It is expected that the series will be launched in global markets as well.
