At CES 2024, Samsung introduces transparent Micro LED TVs

One of the most exciting announcements surrounding the CES 2024 expo is the new transparent MicroLED technology. Samsung is the company behind this concept. In addition to the Neo QLED and OLED TVs, the company introduced new MicroLED TVs. The new TV series was unveiled during Samsung’s AI For All event. Interestingly, the new MicroLED TVs are accompanied by a transparent panel. The company is set to showcase the new Micro LED technology and the TVs based on this technology at the CES 2024 event in Las Vegas, USA.

The new Micro LED panels by Samsung are transparent

The new Micro LED display technology from Samsung is transparent. It lets users view the back side of the display as well. This technology has other fantastic uses, such as enormous scoreboards in stadiums and residences. In creative commercial use cases, it can also be applied to ads. According to Samsung, the options are unlimited.

Due to precise production techniques that remove refractions and seams, Micro LED chips are printed on a piece of glass to give the panel the appearance of glass. The new Micro LED panels are modular. In simple words, any aspect ratio, shape, or size of a TV can be created. The newest Micro LED TV lineup comes in 76-inch, 89-inch, 101-inch, and 114-inch sizes that are ready to use. Currently, there are no details regarding the price and availability of these TVs. However, it appears like these TVs will be quite expensive.
