Blizzard introduces the new Spiritborn class

The Vessel of Hatred expansion for Diablo 4 will be released in October. One of the most exciting new features is another playable class. In a video, Blizzard is now introducing the Spiritborn in more detail and also showing new gameplay.

This is how the spirit-born fights

The Spiritborn class is not playable in any other part of the Diablo series and was therefore designed specifically for the upcoming add-on Vessel of Hatred. Described as the “ultimate predator”, the Spiritborn primarily engages his opponents in close combat, attacking with his glaive weapon and devastating combo attacks. The Spiritborn also worships the jungles of Nahantu and the spirit guardians that exist there. This allows him to use the powers of the jaguar, gorilla, eagle and millipede for his own purposes.

New class starts with Vessel of Hatred

Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred will be released on October 8, 2024. The Spiritborn will also be available from this date. Other content includes a new chapter for the story campaign with the Nahantu Jungle as the setting and an additional dungeon type.
