Brave web browser now have an AI assistant for Android

Brave

Brave Software unveiled Leo, an AI assistant, in November 2023 for the desktop Brave web browser. Leo is now being released by the firm on the Android Brave web browser. Brave Leo is capable of a wide range of tasks, such as responding to your inquiries, summarizing webpages and videos, translating pages, producing lengthy written content, transcribing audio and video content, and even writing code. These tasks could be very useful for the majority of people in their daily lives, saving them a great deal of time and providing them with great convenience.

Leo employs the Mixtral 8x7B large language model (LLM) by default. If that’s more your style, you can also choose between Llama 2 13B and Calude Instant. However, you can use the AI assistant in other languages, such as English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish, by using Mixtral. Even more amazing is the fact that Leo doesn’t record chats and can be used without logging in or signing up.

Thankfully, Leo is free to access. Leo Premium, a paid version of the service available from Brave Software, costs USD 14.99 a month and has greater rate restrictions. The business claims that it has begun releasing Leo in stages along with version 1.63 of the Brave web browser. Therefore, it may take a few days for everyone to use the feature. Make sure you upgrade the app to the most recent version in the interim.
