CMF by Nothing will be official on September 26

Just last month, we learned that Nothing would debut its sub-brand under the name CMF. Notably, the new brand of the company will sell affordable products. According to the official statement by the company, the sub-brand CMF by Nothing will be officially available on September 26.

The product catalog of Nothing already comprises affordable devices like the Ear (1), Ear Stick, and the Nothing Phone (1). On the other hand, the newly debuted Nothing Phone (2) is a bit more expensive than Nothing Phone (1) but is an affordable option when it comes to other smartphones on the market. With the new brand, it seems like Nothing intends to focus on premium and flagship products, whereas CMF will introduce an affordable range of devices.

CMF by Nothing will be official by the end of this month

At the time of the announcement, Carl Pei didn’t mention the devices that would launch under the sub-brand CMF. However, there were some rumors that suggested that the company might unveil three products, including a pair of earbuds, a smartwatch, and a fast charger.

Rumors suggest that the smartwatch features a 1.96-inch AMOLED panel with 600 nits of peak brightness. It might feature some health trackers, AOD, Nothing’s software, IP68 certification, and a 330mAh battery. There are no details about the earbuds. However, we can expect them to feature 45dB ANC for noise cancellation. They might feature “Ultra Bass” technology and up to 11 hours of battery life. They might debut with a price tag of ~$36.

Last but not least, the charger could be a 65W GaN charger. It might feature two USB-C ports and a USB-A port. It might be available for ~$36. Currently, there is no information on whether the company debuts any other product at the launch or not. However, we’ll just have to wait and watch until the sub-brand is official.
