CMF is Nothing’s sub-brand

When it comes to the smartphone industry, we have some major names on the list including Samsung, Nokia, Apple, Motorola, and others. Compared to these big names, Nothing is a new company. The company is thriving in its initial stages. As per some fresh pieces of information, the company has launched its sub-brand named CMF. Notably, the sub-brand of the company will primarily focus on affordable products.

CMF by Nothing

Well, this is quite a surprising move by the company. The company has just released two smartphones in its three years of existence. The company is working to improve its presence and identity in the market. Carl Pei declared the formation of the new sub-brand in a Nothing Community update.

As per the information, the sub-brand will deal in affordable products just as Redmi (maintained by Xiaomi) or Honor (retained by Huawei). The two brands will have different targets and goals. Nothing will work on introducing innovative, high-end, and latest products thus retaining the vision of the company. On the other hand, CMF will target cheaper products. The products will be different from Nothing devices.

What can we expect from CMF?

Carl Pei’s discussion of a subsidiary brand with more economical products seems a little strange given that all of their products have previously been fairly priced. Even the Nothing Phone (2), whose price was noticeably raised over that of its predecessor, is less expensive than the majority of the competitors.

In addition to this, Carl Pei shared that the company is working on two new products i.e., a new smartwatch and a pair of earbuds. Carl Pei mentioned that the two devices will debut later this year. Well, things will eventually become more time.
