Disney Epic Mickey rebrushed version revealed

THQ Nordic has released a new trailer for the game Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed. The new edition of the Wii classic will be released at the end of September for PC and console and will see the world’s most famous mouse swing his paintbrush again.

The new video shows what Mickey Mouse fans can expect in this mix of action game and jump & run: The setting of the adventure is the rather gloomy Wasteland. This world is mainly inhabited by forgotten Disney characters and is in great danger. Armed with a magic brush, Mickey can either create something new with paint or manipulate the environment with thinner.

A classic in new splendor

For the rebrushed version of the game, which was first released in 2010, the developer studio Purple Lamp not only improved the graphics, but also adjusted the controls. Mickey also got a few new tricks. Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed will be released on September 24, 2024 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch. Those who pre-order will secure an exclusive costume pack with three additional skins and receive 24 hours early access (on consoles only).
