Dubai Font Will Be Available In Upcoming Huawei Smartphones

A partnership between Executive Council of Dubai and China’s Huawei Consumer Business Group took place on Wednesday. As per the agreement between two parties Dubai Font would be part of OS of Huawei. The agreement was signed between Jiao Jian, President of Huawei Consumer Business Group for the Middle East and Africa and Ahmad bin Amer Al Mahri, Assistant Secretary General of Dubai’s Executive Council.

Now, this Dubai Font would be part of the next release by Huawei. The next Huawei smartphone would be released in the Middle East and Africa by the end of the year and would globally release until next year as per Jiao.

Dubai Font was initially launched by the government of Dubai and Microsoft on April 30, 2017.

Dubai Font gives an identity to the city; it is presented in 23 languages on Word applications. Also, the font is part of social media apps including Twitter and Instagram. The languages in which the font is available are German, Arabic, Urdu, English, and Arabic etc. Also, they are working to add Mandarin language to the lot.

Huawei is growing as a brand and such partnerships would add up to its popularity. Recently Huawei went up to 83rd rank in Fortune 500 ranking list.
