Electronic Arts is sending its FIFA successor into the next round: EA Sports FC 25 brings a number of new features for football fans this year, including the new Rush game variant and the so-called FC-IQ feature for more tactical control. First impressions can be seen in the reveal trailer.
Rush will be integrated as a new option into the most important game modes of EA Sports FC 25 and is therefore available in Football Ultimate Team, Clubs and Kick-Off. Here, players fight for goals on a smaller field and with fewer team members – specifically, there are five athletes on the pitch per team instead of eleven. This should ensure faster and therefore potentially more goal-rich gameplay.
With the so-called “FC IQ”, EA promises a complete overhaul of the tactical elements of the game. In addition, an AI model based on real data is used, which is intended to influence the roles of the players in a new way. For the players in front of the screen, the feature means more strategic options and more realism.
EA Sports FC 25 contains more than 19,000 players in over 700 teams as well as more than 120 stadiums and over 30 leagues, including of course the Bundesliga, the Premier League and the Liga F. Women’s football is also an integral part of the new career mode. EA Sports FC 25 will be released on September 27, 2024 and can be pre-ordered now for PC (Steam, Epic Games Tore, EA App), Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and the Nintendo Switch.
