EA Sports FC 26 Brings Smarter AI, Fluid Dribbling, and New Game Modes

Watch out football fans: EA Sports has unveiled the next part of his FC football series and announced a number of innovations. According to his own statements, the developer mainly heard the voices from the community. EA Sports FC 26 will offer improved dribbling mechanics that allows even more fluid actions and more ball control. Thanks to improved AI, players position themselves more intelligently on the field and, above all, the goalkeepers now rule more naturally. EA also promises new animations for this.

New default settings, more challenges

New in FC 26 are two additional gameplay presets, each of which should provide a different game feeling-one for competitions (faster passes and more direct control) and one for more authenticity (realistic corner success rates and lifelike goal area fights). In the announcement, EA also promises new player archetypes for more individual player development, new competition opportunities in the Ultimate Team, new live management challenges in the management career and new cooperation opportunities with dynamic live events.

EA Sports FC 26 will be released on September 26, 2025 for the PC (Steam, EA App), Playstation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2 and Amazon Luna. Ultimate Edition pre -orderers can play in early access from September 19.
