El Espanol Unveiled the Oppo Reno 7 Series

Oppo is working on a new lineup – the Reno 7 series. The series consists of three devices – Reno 7, Reno 7 Pro, and Reno 7 SE – and they’re likely to come later this year.

Although Oppo hasn’t said anything about the series, rumors are suggesting that there won’t be a Reno 7 Pro Plus model. It could be replaced with the Reno 7 SE.

A report from EL Espanol suggested that the Reno 7 and Reno 7 Pro would feature a 6.5-inch OLED display with Full HD+ resolution. The former will support a 90Hz refresh rate, whereas the latter will offer 120Hz refresh rate support.

The duo will also share a similar battery size, i.e. a 4,500 mAh battery that supports 65W fast charging support. Camera-wise, the two will have a 32MP selfie camera. The vanilla model will have a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP Sony IMX766 camera, a 16MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP portrait lens.

The difference is now coming when the Pro model is likely to feature a 50MP Samsung GN5 sensor, paired with a 64MP OmniVision OV64B ultrawide lens, and a 13MP telephoto camera.

The two will also have different chipsets. The Reno 7 will feature a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. While the Reno 7 Pro will feature a Snapdragon 888 SoC.

There are also some details about the Reno 7 SE. This model could be the low-tiered model of the three, featuring the least specs of the three. This model could come with a 6.43-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate and Full HD+ resolution. Camera-wise, it could feature a triple rear camera setup with a 64MP OmniVision OV64B main camera, an 8MP Sony IMX355 camera, and a 2MP portrait lens (not bad). The front camera could be a 32MP camera.

Under the hood, we can expect to get a MediaTek Dimensity 920 SoC paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. This model will have a 4,300mAh battery with 65W fast charging support.

It’s interesting that El Espanol has managed to grab so much about the Reno 7 series. It would be a praisable moment if all this stands true.
