After one long year, Redmi announced the next generation of the Smart Band – the Smart Band Pro. As always, the band comes with better features.
The Redmi Smart Band Pro features a 1.47-inch AMOLED panel with 450 nits of maximum brightness and 282 PPI. The screen is well-protected by a 2.5D tempered glass and the body is made of polycaprolactam. The band is water-resistant up to 50m. The strap is made of soft silicone.
Accelerometer, gyroscope, and PPG heart rate monitor are a few of the common sensors found on this smart band. There’s also a light sensor that automatically adjusts the brightness of the display. It also features more than 110 types of workouts, 15 of those are professional modes. The band also has SpO2 (blood oxygen).
The band is powered by a 200 mAh battery chargeable with a small magnetic cable. According to Redmi, this smart band can last for about 14 days under normal usage or 20 days in power-saving mode.
The company hasn’t shared its price range but rumors suggest it could cost about €59 (US$68/£50/₹5,111). We also don’t have a release date for this Redmi Smart Band.
