Pre -order causes a sensation

The Dutch online shop Game Stock caused a sensation when it offered the Nintendo Switch 2 for pre-order. The specified price of 499 euros is above the previous estimates of analysts, which predicted a price of around $399 (without VAT). Converted and including taxes, this would correspond to around 440 euros. In North America there were also indications of a price of around 500 Canadian dollars, which is also under the offer of the Dutch dealer.

Speculation on the publication date

Analysts expect the Nintendo Switch 2 to be available from June 2025. This time window coincides with reports about possible production bottlenecks that could prevent an earlier launch.

Official announcement is imminent

Nintendo has announced that it will publish more information about Switch 2 on April 2, 2025 as part of a Nintendo Direct. It is expected that details about hardware, games, price and publication date will be announced. Until then, many questions remain unanswered, and the gaming community is eagerly awaiting official information.

The recent leaks and speculations have further increased the anticipation of the Nintendo Switch 2. While the price of 499 euros given by Game Stock causes discussions, it remains to be seen which information Nintendo will reveal in the upcoming announcement. Interested parties should keep an eye on Nintendo’s official channels to obtain current and reliable information.
