Rumors have circulated about Samsung potentially using only Snapdragon chips for its Galaxy S25 lineup, but the inclusion of the Exynos 2500 SoC seems likely. A recent Geekbench score sheet displays the Galaxy S25+ running on the Exynos 2500, essentially confirming the prior plan—some markets will get Exynos-powered versions, like Europe, while others will see Snapdragon 8 Elite.
While there were earlier rumors about Samsung struggling with Exynos 2500 yields, the situation doesn’t appear as concerning. The Geekbench score sheet showing the Galaxy S25+ running on the unreleased Exynos 2500 is solid proof that certain markets are set to receive the Exynos treatment.
The CPU configuration is also available: a 10-core CPU with the prime core running at 3.3 GHz, alongside two high-performance cores at 2.75 GHz and five additional cores at 2.36 GHz. Only two power-efficient cores operate at 1.8 GHz. The GPU featured is the Xclipse 950, which uses AMD’s RDNA architecture.
As far as benchmark scores are concerned, it’s wise not to read too much into them at this stage. This is a pre-production sample, so comparisons against chips like Dimensity 9400 and Snapdragon 8 Elite are premature at this point.
