Few more Galaxy S23 camera features will be rolled out to older devices

Back in February, the South Koran tech giant introduced its flagship smartphone series i.e., Galaxy S23. The company introduced several new cameras features with the latest flagship series. Just after few weeks after the release, the company rolled out major updates to the camera features. Besides this, the company is going to introduce these camera features to older devices.

Some of these features were introduced to older devices with the One UI 5.1 during the last month. Some other features like Image Clipper were recently introduced on older devices like the Galaxy S22 with the April update. Well, this is not just all. Since the company intends to introduce more Galaxy S23 camera features to older models.

The recent information was fetched from the Community Post of Samsung’s South Korean forums. It indicates that Pro and Pro Video modes on the Galaxy S22 series and the Galaxy Z Fold 4 will receive front camera support. Besides this, the devices will receive front camera support in the Expert RAW app. In addition to this, the new 300x Astro Hyperlapse feature will also be introduced.

Notably, the Image Clipper feature will be rolled out to various Galaxy devices. These include Galaxy S21, Galaxy S20, Galaxy Note 20, and all foldable models except for the first-gen Galaxy Fold. Do note that Galaxy S22 is not included in this list as it has already received this feature. Furthermore, the company will review the functionality of the improved lens switching effect provided with Galaxy S23 for the older version i.e., Galaxy S22 series, Galaxy Z Fold 4, and Galaxy Z Flip 4. If things work in the right direction, then Samsung might introduce this feature to other devices as well.
