FIFA 23: The Last FIFA has moderate system requirements

FIFA 23, EA’s last FIFA game before it was rebranded as EA Sports FC, has received official PC system requirements. These are interesting because FIFA 23 is technically identical to the current generation of consoles for the first time. Still, the demands remain moderate. The minimum requirements are a Core i5-6600 or Ryzen 5 1600X, a GeForce GTX 1050 Ti or Radeon RX 570, and 8 GB of RAM. And the recommended requirements are also limited to a Core i7-6700 or Ryzen 7 2700X, a GeForce GTX 1660 or Radeon RX 5600 XT, and 12 GB of RAM. It is unclear what resolution, level of detail, and frame rate can be achieved with the right systems.

Even if the information is mediocre, the requirements are noticeably higher than in FIFA 22, which is probably due to the graphics engine called “HyperMotion2 technology” that has been improved for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. With the recommended system requirements, FIFA 22 was still satisfied with an AMD FX 8150 or Core i5-3550, with the graphics cards it was a Radeon R9 270X or GeForce GTX 670, which is a clear difference from the new specifications.

System Requirements for FIFA 23 In addition to the processor, graphics card, and RAM, the DirectX 12 interface is required for FIFA 23, DirectX 11 seems to have been completely eliminated. The memory consumption is also worth mentioning because, with 100 GB, FIFA 23 is going to be a pretty big game. Further details are not mentioned. FIFA 23 will be released on October 1 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and Google Stadia. The more expensive Ultimate Edition can be played from September 27. On PC, FIFA 23 will be distributed through EA’s own Origin Store and Steam.
