Flexible Work Week: Google Allow Employees To Work From Home Until September

According to people familiar with the matter, Google CEO Sundar Pichai said in an email sent to employees on Sunday that employees will be allowed to work from home until September next year, and then return to the office will be postponed by three months.

Pichai also said that after employees can safely return to the office, the company will also pilot a “flexible workweek“, allowing employees to work in the office at least three days a week and work at home the rest of the time, NY Times reported. Pichai wrote in an email: “We are testing a hypothesis that flexible working models will increase productivity, collaboration, and happiness.”
