Galaxy A14 5G close to its official launch

A new member is on its way to join the portfolio of 5G-enabled smartphones.

Galaxy A series smartphones by Samsung are among the affordable 5G-enabled devices. Samsung is continually working on its portfolio of 5G-enabled smartphones. Now, Galaxy A14 5G is going to make an appearance in the market soon.

Rumors about the new smartphone by Samsung are in the market for quite some time. It now seems that the product is launching soon as it receives the certification from Wi-Fi Alliance.

Nothing much information has been revealed via the certification. We just know that the model number of the device will be SM-A146P rather than SM-A146B. the reason behind being company introducing some new changes. Previously, Samsung used the letter B while referring to its international 5G-enabled smartphones. Furthermore, the new A14 5G supports Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac. Thus, indicating that it has the capability to connect to both 2.3GHz as well as 5GHz networks.

Talking about the specifications, some leaked news indicated that Galaxy A14 5G will feature:

  • 6.8-inch screen
  • Full HD+ resolution
  • USB-C port
  • 3.5mm headphone jack
  • Slide-mounted fingerprint sensor

This is quite an improvement compared to Galaxy A13 5G which had a 6.5-inch HD+ display.

Contrary to its predecessors, Galaxy A14 will be launched as a 5G-only device. Further information about the battery, memory and the phone’s processor is presently missing.  But we can expect a 5000mAh battery capacity.

Maybe by the end of 2022, Galaxy A14 5G launches in Europe. But more concrete evidence on the official launch is lacking for now. The same is the case with the pricing.
