After hearing about the Galaxy A22 5G, we spotted the device on TUV, where it was claimed to be one of the cheapest 5G phones. The smartphone is expected to release soon.
According to the leaks, this device will be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 700 processor – one of the most affordable 5G chips on the market. It would have at least 6GB RAM and a quad-camera setup on the rear side. The primary camera is expected to be 48MP.
On the front, we expect to have a waterdrop notch housing the 13MP selfie camera. The device carries model number SM-A226B/DS and could come with a 15W charger.
This affordable device is expected to run One UI 3.1 on top of Android 11. According to the leak, the Galaxy A22 5G could also have a 4G/LTE variant, which could be even less expensive.
