Galaxy A54 5G is the most recent smartphone by Samsung with Wi-Fi 6 support

Since the Wi-Fi 6 standard was first introduced, routers that support it have become increasingly popular. You can also easily find routers that support the even more advanced Wi-Fi 6E standard, which adds a new 6GHz channel in addition to the 2.4GHz and 5GHz channels that were typically used before Wi-Fi 6E entered the picture.

Although Wi-Fi 6 connectivity has been available on Samsung’s flagship models since the Galaxy S10. But not many of Samsung’s mid-range products have this feature. Yet, Samsung hasn’t been completely motionless. The Galaxy A54 5G has been added this year to the company’s lineup of mid-range Galaxy smartphones with support for Wi-Fi 6.

Galaxy A54 5G supports Wi-Fi 6, not Wi-Fi 6E

The Galaxy A54 5G is fueled by the new Exynos 1380 chipset. Reportedly, Exynos 1380 is the first chipset by Samsung that support Wi-Fi 6. It is an interesting feature. Since it holds various advantages. It is provided with improved download and upload speeds. It has the capacity to operate on both bands i.e., 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands. Another amazing feature about Wi-Fi 6 routers is that they can support more devices in contrast to the Wi-Fi 5 routers without compromising the speed.

Well, one thing to consider here is that make sure your router has support for Wi-Fi 6/6E. in order to find this information, check the product page of the router. Just look for the number 6 written next to the Wi-Fi icon in the status bar for confirmation. Besides this, if you have a good Wi-Fi 5 router, then an upgrade to a Wi-Fi 6/6E router is not required.
