Galaxy Phones To Receive Android 14 Beta Soon
While Google is likely to release Android 14 for the Pixel devices next month, Samsung hasn’t even started the beta program yet. However, the company has now announced a schedule for the release of the One UI 6 beta.
Schedule One UI 6 Beta
As reported by SamMobile, the customer support of Samsung Germany has given a Samsung customer a date for the first beta of One UI 6. On August 2nd, the beta based on Android 14 should make it to the Galaxy S23, the Galaxy S23+, and the Galaxy S23 Ultra. Just a week later, the update will also be released for the two midrangers Samsung’s Galaxy A54 and Galaxy A34.
Aside from the devices mentioned, the timeline for other Galaxy phone models, such as last year’s Galaxy S22 or the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4, hasn’t been detailed. Maybe that will be clarified as soon as the first version is released next week – and Samsung has gained initial experience.
The latest beta version is One UI 5.1.1, which shipped to the foldable and the Galaxy Tab S8 in early July. It added numerous features such as B. An updated multitasking interface and more options for reverse loading. It’s possible that Samsung will skip this beta build for its Brick phones entirely and instead jump straight to One UI 6.
The Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5, which were introduced together with the Galaxy Tab S9, already run with One UI 5.1.1. However, Samsung has not yet revealed when these brand-new devices will even be updated to Android 14. But knowing the Koreans, it might only be a few weeks before they release the software update to a wider audience.
