Samsung’s Good Lock currently displays the Galaxy Ring

The Galaxy Ring, Samsung’s first truly “new” mobile product in a long time, has generated a lot of hype. Samsung previewed the Galaxy Ring at the Unpacked presentation for the Galaxy S24 series last month, merely stating that it would be available later this year.

It may be a while before the firm releases further details on its health and fitness tracking ring, but it appears to be working hard to get everything ready for the official debut. For example, the Good Lock app already includes the Galaxy Ring as an option.

Good Lock has been upgraded to accommodate Galaxy Ring

According to a Reddit user, the Good Lock app already includes the Galaxy Ring in the list of devices for which the battery status can be displayed on a widget. It’s a great tool that lets you see the battery status of all connected devices.

Nobody currently owns the Galaxy Ring because it has not yet been officially launched. However, Samsung has made the necessary adjustments to the Good Lock app to allow the widgets when the Galaxy Ring is officially released later this year.

Now, there are few details on the Galaxy Ring. According to Samsung, this wearable device is equipped with cutting-edge sensor technologies that allow users to approach wellness tracking in a comprehensive yet straightforward manner. Someone who got to try out a prototype of the Galaxy Ring during Unpacked said that it’s quite light and comes in three distinct finishes.

Expect Samsung to reveal additional details about the Galaxy Ring in the coming months. If all goes as planned, the company may be able to deploy this highly anticipated product before the end of the year.
