Galaxy S20 FE 4G is expected to replace the Exynos 990 with Snapdragon 865+

In recent events, smartphone researchers exposed a bit more about the Galaxy S20 FE 4G. The device is expected to come in two variants – the Galaxy S20 FE (4G), powered by the Exynos 990 processor, and the Galaxy S20 FE 5G, featuring the Snapdragon 865 processor.

A previous leak said that the Galaxy S20 FF LTE would have a model number SM-G780G. And now it is said that Samsung could end the production of the Exynos 990-equipped Galaxy S20 FE. At the same time, it was also said that the company would launch a newer version with a Snapdragon 865+ version. However, it is still unclear if this new smartphone will be available for all markets.

In the previous year, Samsung faced a lot of criticism when the Exynos 990 showed poor performance, overheating, and battery life issues. After so many criticisms, consumers started demanding the Snapdragon version of the Galaxy S20 FE.

The new version is expected to feature the same 6.5″ 120Hz Super AMOLED Infinity-O display as the previous model, with two storage configurations (6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB internal storage), a microSD card slot, a 32MP selfie camera, a triple-camera setup (12MP+12MP+12MP) at the back, stereo speakers, IP68 rating, an in-display fingerprint reader, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C port, and a 4,500mAh battery.
