Galaxy S23 enables users to disable Game Optimization Service while playing games

GOS abbreviates for Game Optimization Service. Previously, the tech firm Samsung introduced the GOS feature with the Galaxy S22 series. However, with those smartphones, the users were left in a confusion. Since the devices were presented with the poor performance of CPU and GPU. The company failed to provide a high frame rate while playing games.

However, the Game Optimization Service GOS inhibited the overheating of smartphones. Side by side it offered low screen resolution as well as GPU performance. It didn’t succeed at providing the optimal gameplay experience. Previously, it was quite easy to deactivate GOS. However, the situation was modified with the One UI 4.0 updates. Samsung came forward with a possible solution despite all the odds. To cater to this problem, the tech company introduced a button via an update that could deactivate the Game Optimization Service [GOS] while playing games.

It has now been confirmed that the feature is back with the new flagship galaxy S23 series [@AndroidAuthority]. However, it is presented with the capacity to throttle the performance of the CPU and GPU on a particular Galaxy S23 model. In simpler words, users will have the access to turn on or turn off the Game Optimization Service (GOS). In addition to this, the advanced cooling mechanism on the Galaxy S23 series will help with the improved gameplay experience.

The cooling system on the Galaxy S23 series is comparatively 1.6 times better in contrast to the Galaxy S22 series. Furthermore, the cooling mechanism presented on the Galaxy S23+ is 2.8 times better as compared to the cooling system presented with the Galaxy S22+. Similarly, the cooling mechanism for Galaxy S23 Ultra is 2.3 times better in contrast to the internal cooling mechanism of the Galaxy S22 Ultra.
