Samsung updated the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ to Android 14 two weeks ago. But at the time, the update was only available for the 5G variants of the phones. Samsung has now begun to distribute the Android 14 update to the tablet models that are Wi-Fi only.
Australia and Turkey can now download the Android 14 update for the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Galaxy Tab S9 FE+. Firmware versions X510XXU1BWK9 and X610XXU1BWK9, respectively, are included with the updates. This update is large, weighing in at around 2GB for download. Unfortunately, the December 2023 security patch is not included in the upgrade.
You may now check for the Android 14 update if you live in Australia or Europe and own a Galaxy Tab S9 FE or Galaxy Tab S9 FE+. Go to Settings » Software update and select Download and install to accomplish that. When the necessary firmware becomes available, you can also utilize our firmware database to download it and use it to manually flash the update. Before flashing the update, though, you must make a backup copy of all your data.
Android 13 was preinstalled on the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and S9 FE+ at launch, and Android 14 is their first major update. These tablets will most likely receive up to three Android OS updates in future.
