Geekbench Debuted Samsung Galaxy S22+ with Exynos 2200 and AMD GPU

This year, Samsung announced that it uses AMD’s GPU inside Exynos-powered devices. The company has now started working for that. Just recently we spotted the Galaxy S22+ with these proclaimed features.

Earlier today, we spotted the Galaxy S22+ on the Geekbench listing site. The device appeared with model number SM-S906B) and is powered by S5E9925 (Exynos 2200) chipset. The chipset is accompanied by an 8 GB RAM and an octa-core CPU – 1 x prime CPU core clocked at 2.59GHz, 3 x high-performance CPU cores clocked at 2.5GHz, and 4 x power-efficient CPU cores clocked at 1.73GHz.

The Exynos 2200 used ARM v8 CPU cores and an AMD RDNA2-based Mobile Radeon GPU and an integrated 5G modem.

According to a source, this AMD GPU, used in the Exynos 2200, has numerous modern features, including ray-tracing and variable rate shading.

The listing site scored 1,073 points in the single-core CPU test and 3,389 points in the multi-core CPU test. Although the scoring isn’t very impressive, earlier we heard that this chipset’s GPU is more powerful than Apple A14 Bionic.
