GeForce RTX 4000: Nvidia hints For Unveiling on September 20th

On the occasion of the GPU Technology Conference (GTC 2022), Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang invites you to a special “GeForce Beyond” event on September 20th. It seems that the chip manufacturer is using the in-house exhibition to talk about its new GeForce RTX 4000 graphics cards.

While in recent years the GTC has stood primarily for software and hardware from the workstation and server sectors as well as automotive, AI, and metaverse, Nvidia seems to have seized the opportunity to also address private customers at the end of September. The official invitation to the live stream talks about “the latest breakthroughs in gaming, creativity and graphics technology”, which, according to experts, should put the new Nvidia graphics cards with Ada Lovelace architecture in the spotlight.

Despite the new GPUs, the RTX 30 series is still there

Despite extensive leaks from the Ampere successor, Nvidia has held back with comments on the new GeForce RTX 40 series. Rumors about the possible high-end GPUs RTX 4070, RTX 4080, RTX 4090 and their planned Ti offshoots have been circulating for several months.

In addition, the prices of the current RTX 30 graphics cards, which after the Covid and mining boom are now piling up in the chip manufacturer’s warehouses and have to be sold off, are falling almost every day. While AMD anticipated Intel with the new Ryzen 7000 processors, Nvidia seems to have at least secured the time advantage with the new graphics cards. Although AMD has also confirmed that it will launch its new Radeon RX 7000 GPUs this year, there is still no official announcement.

Nvidia will broadcast the “GeForce Beyond” event live on Twitch and YouTube on September 20, 2022 at 5 p.m. German time. You can find out more about the hotly debated rumors in advance in our big Nvidia special. Here you will also find all official information about the new GeForce RTX 4000 graphics cards after the keynote.
