How To Get New Currency Notes From SBP Via SMS Service Before Eid

State Bank of Pakistan has announced the distribution of new/fresh currency note before Eid-ul-Fitar via SMS service which is started from June 11. The service will enable people to easily acquire new currency notes prior to Eid holidays.

In this service anyone can put a request via SMS to nearest designated branch identified by SBP.

Children love fresh notes when it comes to their Eidi, If you wish to celebrate this Eid with New and Fresh currency notes and distribute Eidi using these notes among your loved ones then you can easily get these notes by placing request through SMS, You can SMS to 8877 with the bank branch code of the nearest branch along with CNIC number.

After sending the text message, you will receive a redemption code in return, branch address and the validity of code. The code is normally valid for two working days after that it gets expired.

The bearer can take the code and Original CNIC Card to the bank along with a photocopy of CNIC to get their fresh packs of currency notes.

Every individual who has placed a request is entitled to get not more than 5 packs of fresh notes including 3 packs of Rs. 10 notes, 1 pack of Rs. 50 notes and 1 pack or Rs. 100 notes. The availability of notes also depends on the stock in the bank.
