Amazon released its second-generation version of its Echo Buds. The earbuds are truly wireless with active noise cancellation and are 20% smaller than the previous generation model.
The Echo Buds come with a tall and slim case, compared to the previous short and wide case. These new buds have a shortened nozzle for improved comfort and new vents to equalize the pressure inside your ears.
Moreover, these earbuds come with four tip sizes and two wingtip sizes for optimal fit. The AirPods Pro-Esque Ear Tip Fit Test feature in the app will help users if they have the correct tip size.
These new Echo Buds by Amazon also have a custom-designed active noise cancellation feature.
These earbuds are fully integrated with Alexa and let you control built-in features like enable noise cancellation or passthrough mode using your voice. You can also play music, set timers and reminders, check your calendar, or make calls using your voice. You can also track your Echo Buds using another Echo device to help you locate them.
These earbuds are claiming to have 5-hours of battery life with active noise cancellation. A 15-minute charge is said to offer 2-hours of music playback. The case is chargeable with a USB-C cable or Qi-certified charger on the wireless charging mode.
These earbuds come for $120 for the standard model and $140 for the wireless charging model. For a limited time, Amazon is offering a discount for a while where the base variant comes for $100, while the upper variant is charged at $120. The Echo Buds are available in two colour options – Black and Glacier White.
