Google Under Attack- Women Suing Google On Pay Gap Subject Just After It Suffered From Anti Diversity Memo Issue

Recently the news circulated that a Google employee wrote a 10-page memo saying that men are more capable to work in the tech sector in comparison to women.  For being open about his viewpoints he was fired.

Now the new news in town is that 60 women plan to sue Google on pay gap issue. The women claim that they earn less compared to men despite having equal qualifications and skills. They believe that the culture of Google is hostile to women.

Both the news are quite interesting and there does seem to be a connection in both the news.

Let’s puts two and two together

A Google employee gets fired on the anti-diversity issue and then women working in Google join hands together on the pay issue. Now there can be two arguments.

First Argument

There are actual issues going on inside Google. Men are given preference over women and the recent anti diversity memo written by a Google employee might just have compelled female staff to stand up against Google.

Second Argument

Google is being targeted. First, their employee writes an anti-women memo and then women riot against Google for not paying them well. Chances are that Google might just be the victim in this whole scenario.

The third argument can be that both these events are totally unrelated with each other. No matter what Google needs to warm up and come up with justifications and answers.
