Google Calendar will soon receive a handy feature

Several users rely on Google Calendar to manage their everyday routines. Not long ago, the tech giant Google integrated Google Tasks and Google Calendar with one another, offering a more seamless experience. Now, the Google Calendar is all set to receive a handy new feature. Reportedly, the completed tasks on Google Calendar will now hide automatically.

Often, apps like Google Calendar are cluttered with schedules since the completed tasks also appear in the Calendar interface. This might significantly mess up the interface if neglected. It appears that the company has begun rolling out the new feature. As soon as a task is marked complete in Google Tasks, it will necessarily be hidden in Google Calendar.

The new feature can be found in the general settings. Just search through the Show Week number toggle to find out whether the feature has arrived in the app or not. Currently, it appears like the feature will be introduced as a server-side update.

More information about Google Calendar

When in a meeting, Google Calendar now displays Microsoft Outlook attendees. Users of Google Calendar can accept meeting invitations from Microsoft Outlook users. Prior to now, the Google Calendar user would not be able to see the name of the Outlook user. However, it has changed now. If a user receives a meeting invitation from a Microsoft Outlook user, the user’s name is now visible to them. Well, this is quite a nice addition.
