Google Messages expands its Magic Compose feature for more countries
Google Messages is a feature-rich messaging app that comes pre-installed on Samsung Galaxy and Google Pixel devices. The business has recently updated the app’s visual design. With the latest update, the Magic Compose feature for Google Messages, which was previously exclusive to the US, is now accessible to users in France and the UK, according to a recent report from 9To5Google.
Google unveiled Magic Compose for Google Messages at I/O 2023. This feature uses generative AI to “craft stylized, suggested responses in the context of your messages.” Magic Compose assists you in “starting or replying to a conversation or rewriting a drafted message in different styles,” as stated by the business.
How can I utilize Google Messages Magic Compose?
You may use this feature in a chat by tapping the pencil and sparkle icon when it becomes accessible on your device. When you do this, Magic Compose will submit the previous twenty messages in the conversation to Google, which will construct a relevant and contextual response for you to send in the chat.
According to Google’s privacy policies, “Messages with attachments, voice messages, and images aren’t sent to Google servers, but image captions and voice transcriptions may be sent.” According to the corporation, it “doesn’t store messages or use them to train machine learning models.” As a result, privacy does not appear to be a concern.
