Google Photos is currently broken as a result of the iOS 16.3.1 update

Tech companies tend to release updates for their products in order to offer a better user experience. The updates are meant for better performance, stability, and bug fixes. Well, any update is appreciated until or unless presents any problem. Since the updates can cause several apps to stop working. The same is the case with the latest updates from Apple. The most recent update from the company is related to iPhones with iOS 16.3.1.

If any user has already downloaded the updates, they might experience a problem with the Google Photos app. The users that have downloaded and installed the latest updates reported that the Google Photos app is not opening. Instead, it crashes when trying to open. The latest problem with iOS updates has been confirmed by folks at The Verge. So, if any user wishes to update to the latest iOS then they should give it a second thought specifically in case the user relies on Google Photos.

Well, talking about the iOS 16.3.1 update, it is a minimal update. Since it doesn’t consist of any new customer-facing features. However, it presents several bug fixes as well as stability updates. The update’s patch notes that the update brings fixes for iCloud settings, Siri requests, and Crash Detection optimizations on iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro models.

The crash detection feature was considered an amazing feature. However, it is posing some problems to the users in the US. Since it creates false alarms in situations where users indulge in activities like winter sports or rollercoaster rides. Given this fact, the company is collecting data to fix the issues related to the Crash Detection feature. Although the latest update has added optimization to the feature. But still, the tech firm has not revealed the actual improvements.
