Google Pixel 6 Encounters Wi-Fi Issues

The software issues with Google’s latest Pixel devices seem endless. After an extensive software update a few weeks ago, Pixel 6 owners are now reporting WLAN connectivity issues. Google has already responded to the issues. A new update, a new bug. Unfortunately, this motto applies to time and again to Google right now. Because with the Google Pixel 6, a new bug has now crept into the February update, which is getting on the nerves. Because the wifi can’t handle anymore.

The error automatically closes the connection and even a factory reset or toggling airplane mode on and off won’t change anything. Hey you/cheesehead78. Thank you for reporting this issue, we are sorry you are experiencing this issue. After some research, we identified the root cause and found that it affects a very small number of devices.

We of course realize that this is a bad experience and have immediately developed a software fix that will be available in the next Google Pixel update, which will be rolled out in March. In the meantime, if you’d like to explore other options, please get in touch with our support team, who are ready to help. Pixel Community, Reddit

in the official reddit forum from the Google Pixel, more than 200 comments on the topic have already been received. According to Google, it has now identified the bug and will fix it in the upcoming March update. However, the manufacturer does not provide more details. It, therefore, remains to be seen if the bug will be fixed and we can only hope that no other bug will creep in and damage the Pixel 6.

Bugs with Android 12

The current bugs are mainly related to the installed Android 12 version. Even a major security update in January failed to completely fix the bugs. So many are now hoping that smartphones with Android 13 will finally work satisfactorily. So far, however, there is little information about the new operating system.
