Google Pixel 6 Pro Geekbench Score Exposed

Google plans to introduce its new flagship generation in the coming month. A benchmark result for the Pixel 6 has now appeared. The entry indicates not only the performance but also some components. The CPU has three different cores.

The Pixel 6 Pro was tested with Geekbench 5 and achieved 414 points in the single-core test and a multi-core score of 2074 points. Android 12 is of course used on the smartphone. According to the entry on the official Geekbench page, Google has installed an octa-core processor in the Pro model. While two cores work with a clock rate of 2.84 gigahertz, two further cores clock with 2.25 gigahertz. The other cores have a clock rate of 1.80 GHz and should work more energy-efficiently.

While such a triple-cluster configuration is unusual, it would make perfect sense. It is a tensor chipset that was developed by Google itself and is based on the ARMv8 architecture.

The CPU is also supported by twelve gigabytes of RAM. The standard model, on the other hand, should only have eight gigabytes of RAM. In addition, current rumors say that the Pixel 6 has a 6.7-inch curved AMOLED display with a punch-hole camera.

Pixel 6 Unveiling on October 19th

The Google Pixel 6 (Pro) will see the light of day on October 19th. A launch event, at which the new flagship should be presented, is to take place on the day. So far, however, it is still unclear when the smartphone will be available in stores, which color variants will be available, and what prices the devices will cost.
