Google is always working hard to give the best to its users. The company recently introduced some new features to make the Google Messages app better. Users will now get a new UI to Samsung phones, support for scheduled messages, calendar event suggestions, and auto-OTP deletion. Moreover, the company is also working on another feature that may let users pin conversations at the top of the Messaging app.
According to the report, this feature is seemingly in testing mode. XDA-Developers discovered the feature under the code for the Google Messages version 8.1.050. The source suggested that this feature might take a little more time to come to the screen, as developers do not find it stable enough. However, this feature is pretty useful for people having loads of messages in the app.
As many of you would be familiar with this feature, this feature lets you pin conversations on top of the conversations list, making it accessible to open, read, and send messages. This feature is not new for many other apps. For instance, we have the same feature in WhatsApp.
We also heard that there could be one more feature – the ability to star messages. Starred messages are individual messages from a particular conversation. The feature is also present in WhatsApp.
