Google ‘View Image’ Button Removed

Google has removed the “View Image” button and the option to search and view an image through this button is killed.

In a tweet, Google has said,

“Today we’re launching some changes on Google Images to help connect users and useful websites. This will include removing the View Image button. The Visit button remains, so users can see images in the context of the web pages they’re on.”

There have been copyright and trademark issues with regard to Google. Getty Images in Europe filed a complaint against Google after which both the companies ended there partnership. Now after the deal ended Google has removed its ‘View Image’ button.

The View Image button was used by millions & billion of Google users around the globe. It made viewing an image easier & simpler. Users used to separately see the image without the trouble of going to the source website or downloading it. After viewing the image the decision to download it or not became clearer. Google ‘View Image’ Button Removed.

Google has also made an announcement to remove “Search by Image” option as it can be misused to search for images that appear to be similar without the watermarks. On the other hand, the Reverse Image Search option is still available. Users can use this option to upload an image and track the image source.

Google said,“The Search by Image button is also being removed. Reverse image search *still works* through the way most people use it, from the search bar of Google Images.”

Well, users, you can still view & download any image but the process has become longer now. You need to visit the webpage of the image for it. So no it’s not easier and simpler as before but you do have an alternation option still available.
