OnePlus & BOE are collaborating to announce an immensely bright display

OnePlus and BOE are all set to introduce the latest display, an immense, bright display. This panel is scheduled to be announced on October 24. It seems like OPPO is also a part of this.

OnePlus, OPPO and BOE are collaborating for a new display

The image provided regarding the announcement displays all three brands. As we already know, OnePlus and OPPO are sister companies. This information wasn’t revealed through the company but through a tipster. A well-known Chinese tipster predicted it to be a QHD+ panel. He predicted it would offer up to 3,000 nits of brightness.

And if this ends up being true, it’ll end up impacting the OnePlus Open, which is offering two displays with 2,800 nits of brightness. Both panels are record holders, followed by OPPO Find X6 Pro’s panel.

These panels are capable of hitting 3,000 nits of brightness

In any event, Digital Chat Station added that the manufacturers will offer 1.5K panels with screens that have a peak brightness of over 3,000 nits. They’ll combine single-pulse DC with 2,160 PWM dimming. That is wonderful news.

Why are OnePlus and OPPO involved in this?

So, it’s likely that the OnePlus 12 and potentially the OPPO Find X7 Pro will both have that display.

Next week, we’ll learn all the pertinent information. Now, it’s anticipated that the OnePlus 12 will go on sale either at the end of December or in early January. It’s possible that, as last year, it may debut in China first.

OnePlus 12 will most likely debut that panel

This device is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen, along with powerful specs across the board. This has already surfaced in CAD-based renders that have a similar design to the OnePlus 11. However, the OPPO Find X7 Pro isn’t coming out until Q1 next year, so the OnePlus 12 will most likely utilize it first.
