Google Will Bring Automatically Playable Videos In Its Search Result Page

Google is bringing ease for its users to search and watch videos. As per Mashable Google is not going to mix videos playing automatically into its search results. This feature was observed by SEM Post and is restricted to the desktop version of search results.

Google spokesperson said that the management is continuously trying to bring betterment in the search engine. What new features it is coming with and how it would enhance the user experience is too early to tell.

It is known that the videos that show up in the search result are found under the name and image. Sometimes auto play videos are also placed under the knowledge panel.

Moreover, it was mentioned that the sound of the video is muted even if the video starts playing automatically, although auto-playing will use up the bandwidth data. The report also said that the videos used during tests were not from authorized source which only indicates that Google may use this feature for investment as an ad revenue unit.

Displaying automatically playable videos is not something new for Google. In past couple of days, the company also tested the same kind of feature in Google Play Music app. The feature in Google Play Music App would allow individuals to search for songs within the search bar available in the App. The feature would be part of Android version 7.9 and 7.10.
