Govt to Launch the Startup Pakistan Program

It has been decided by the Federal Government to launch the Startup Pakistan program under the Prime Minister Youth Affairs Program (PMYAP) umbrella.

In order to give technical training to the youth, the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) and Higher Education Commission (HEC) will collaborate, as per a PMYAP official.

Topmost business ventures will be found in the domestic and global market by small and medium enterprises development authority.

He said, “Aimed at uplifting the youth of the country, the program, will train youngsters in both conventional and high technical skills.”

One million students in different technical institutes, universities, and technical education & vocational training authority’s training centers will be enrolled by the government.

He said that students will be incorporated in different government sectors for internships that include Naya Pakistan Housing Project, Pakistan Tourism Board, and the Ministry of Postal Services.

It is pertinent to mention here that the present government is making an effort to export human resources to other nations. The efforts of the government have produced positive results. Countries including Japan, Romania, Germany, and Qatar have an interest in importing skilled-labor from Pakistan.

Other than this, for youth, PTI has launched schemes like Qarz-e-Hasna and Assets Transfer.
