GTA 6: Rockstar hires massively to finish the game

Rockstar is now putting all its energy into GTA 6. After canceling new-gen remasters of Red Dead Redemption 2, the studio is now starting to hire massive new developers to ramp up production. At the time of writing these rules, over 200 job postings have been published by the company.

Everyone knows that GTA 6 will eventually come out, but no one knows when. This crucial information has been the subject of much speculation for years, and when Rockstar confirms the game’s existence, fans around the world begin to hope for an early release.

Of course, it isn’t. GTA 6 will probably be Rockstar’s most ambitious project – something far from easy after Red Dead Redemption – and therefore takes time to get through development. By taking place in multiple time zones, GTA 6 development never really stops. Also, this isn’t Rockstar’s only strong move indicating GTA 6 is now our number one priority. Specifically, a few days ago, we learned that the studio has canceled the remaster of Red Dead Redemption 2 for PS5 and Xbox Series X, precisely to focus on the next game.
